Getting to BGU

The conference will take place in two main venues.

​

The morning session (gathering/greetings) and all Keyword panels will take place in buildings 18 and 14, respectively. These are located in the Deichmann plaza (E), in the western end of the BGU campus, and near the main Aroma branch (in building 74). The keynote and afternoon workshop sessions, as well as the dinner, will take place in the ground floor of the Senate Hall [building 70] (F).

Ben-Gurion University of the Negev is easily reached by car or public transportation.

​

Car: 

Enter through the “Gate of Knowledge” (C), off Reger Road. Park in the first parking-lot on your right. Enter building 74, walk through the Aroma branch, straight into the Deichmann plaza. For car permits please contact Merav Saroosi-Peretz, 08-6461128 | meravsp@bgu.ac.il

Trains:

There is a good direct service from Haifa, Tel-Aviv and many other stations. Get off at Beer-Sheva North/University station (A). Take the Mexico Bridge into the campus. From there, it’s about a 7-10 minute walk to the Deichmann plaza, on the other side of the campus.

Buses:

Get off at the “Merkaz morim” station (B), at the Reger Road and Ben-Gurion Boulevard intersection, just opposite the campus. Enter through the “Gate of Aliyah” (D) or “Gate of Knowledge” (C).
